French Maker Of High-speed Laser Marking Technology QiOVA Acquired

Recently, QiOVA, a French manufacturer of high-speed laser marking technology, announced that the company has been acquired by Seram, a subsidiary of Neyret Group, which is engaged in luxury accessories and decoration. At present, the specific amount is not approved.
It is reported that Seram has a huge demand for laser marking applications and plans to use QiOVA's programmable multi-beam laser technology to mark glass, metals (aluminum/zinc alloys/brass, brass, etc.), ceramics, polymers, copper and other materials. The plan is to use QiOVA's programmable multi-beam laser technology to efficiently mark glass, metal (aluminum/zinc alloy/brass/copper, etc.), ceramics, polymers, textiles, wood, and cardboard for a variety of functional or design purposes.
By using a femtosecond laser, QiOVA's technology is able to provide high-contrast marking results with excellent precision and repeatability. Utilizing a specific interaction between light and material, femtosecond lasers can provide excellent process renderings on the product itself or on additional decoration (sheet metal, leather trim, etc.).
In addition to adding decorative markings to its products, Seram will also use laser technology to produce QR codes for traceability. These can also be used to integrate digital content into Seram's products without disrupting the user experience.
The Neyret Group now has a comprehensive "laser + software" solution so it can offer its customers a complete marking solution. Seram's new laser capabilities are said to work well with the product tracking software provided by Sansara as a turnkey product marking/tracking solution.
"From the design phase to the digital solution and support, these new end-to-end decorating and tracking solutions take into account all the customer's industrial requirements throughout the project." SERAM added.
About QiOVA
Since its inception in 2011, QiOVA has been a pioneer in high-speed industrial laser solutions for dynamic laser beam shaping and precision machining of materials, with a focus on industrial ultrashort pulse applications. In 2014, QiOVA introduced to the market the first industrial multipoint beam shaping module, the VULQ1.The VULQ1's disruptive nature enables powerful, value-added applications in the laser marking and micromachining markets with Key applications include high-speed identification marking, certification marking and parallel processing.
