Laser cleaning is more than simple descaling

Some people think that laser cleaning does not belong to laser processing technology, because it does not change the material of the workpiece, just clean the surface of rust, dirt, dust, etc., it is just a simple surface cleaning technology. It is also believed that laser cleaning, cutting, marking, welding, drilling and other processes are the same, which are the use of high energy laser beam processing, improve the appearance of the workpiece, performance or other purposes.

In fact, laser cleaning is not as simple as the surface irradiation - cleaning, on the contrary, because the materials to be cleaned and their thickness are different, the laser power, energy and other factors have to be considered, and relatively complex.

Laser cleaning technology was invented and applied in developed countries early in 1990s. In the following years, China caught up and began to develop laser processing technology.
