2. The weld seam must ensure the connection strength and high gas tightness requirements.

The thickness of the oxygen sensor base is generally 6-12mm, and the thickness of the catalytic converter body is generally 1.5mm-2mm. The difference between the two thicknesses is large, so the welding process window is very narrow, and fluctuations in current, differences in the state of the welded surface, and fluctuations in the welding gap can lead to defects such as weld leakage in the catalytic converter shell.
