The ability to "identify 14cm obstacles from 120 meters away" is one of Huawei's important selling points. In addition, the two models announced at the press conference were launched for the first time, one is the million-dollar Zunjie S800, and the other is the 500,000-yuan Wenjie

This also marks the first time that Luobo Kuaipao will realize the on-board application of trunk-level lidar. In addition, Didi Bicycle has deployed 10 of this combination of lidars.

 

I should mention here that Goldman Sachs predicts that China's driverless taxis will reach 500,000 in 2030, and the market size is expected to reach US$47 billion in 2035. By then, bicycles equipped with 6 to 10 lidars may become the mainstream configuration solution for Robotaxi.

At that time, Sagitar Juchuang said that it could flexibly customize various implementation plans such as 520 lines, 720 lines, 1080 lines, and 2160 lines according to the needs of car companies. This solution is based on the SPAD-SoC+VCSEL area array chip architecture, and the hardware is highly integrated. Of course, since it is customized, it must be done by a customer.

Then, on March 12, Sagitar Juchuang announced that it had obtained the exclusive pre-installation contract for Baidu's self-driving travel service platform "Luobaopao" and will provide its "thousand-line-level EM4 + all-solid-state blind-filling E1" digital lidar combination for its new generation of pre-installed mass-produced Robotaxi models to achieve 360° omnidirectional accurate perception without blind spots.

 

This also marks that Luobo Kuaipao will realize the on-board application of thousand-line laser radar for the first time. In addition, Didi Bicycle has deployed 10 of this combination of lidars.
