Recently, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Shenzhen Gongda Laser Co. Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Director of Carbon Neutral Institute of Shenzhen Advanced Institute of Technology, Cheng Huiming, Founder and General Manager of Gongda Laser, Zhang Fan, as the representatives of the two sides jointly unveiled the plaque for the Joint Laboratory.

Cheng Huiming warmly welcomed the arrival of Zhang Fan and his party. He said that the Carbon Neutral Institute of Shenzhen Advanced Institute was established for the national strategic goal of "Carbon Peak, Carbon Neutral", which is committed to carbon neutral technology innovation and leading the development of carbon neutral industry. After two years of efforts, the layout of a number of directions to solve the bottlenecks in the development of new energy industry, and the industry chain of enterprises to work together in research and development, can accelerate the realization of scientific research results.
Zhang Fan said he was very pleased that Gongda can establish a cooperative relationship with Shenzhen Advanced Institute through the joint laboratory for technology development, process optimization, equipment processing and overall close cooperation. Kung Da Laser is a dynamic and creative high-tech intelligent manufacturing enterprise, with several post-doctoral and doctoral R & D team as well as years of laser industry experience in the operation and management team, can provide superior performance laser solutions for local and international laser equipment manufacturers, I believe that through the two sides to play to their respective strengths, will be able to optimize laser-assisted chalcogenide photovoltaic module manufacturing path.
As the person in charge of the joint laboratory, Bai Yang reported in detail the progress of the existing work of the joint laboratory and the follow-up research plan. It is reported that the joint laboratory, as a technology development platform for the two sides in the manufacture of chalcogenide photovoltaic, will mainly focus on the development of low-cost and high-precision laser equipment in the application of chalcogenide photovoltaic module manufacturing. The expected results of the first phase of the project will include the development of large-area chalcogenide thin film preparation process by scraping and coating method and optimization of thin film crystallization growth kinetics and laser processing process development of chalcogenide components.
Under the guidance of the national "dual-carbon" strategy, the two sides will make full use of the human resources and advanced scientific and technological achievements of scientific research institutions, together with the integrated manufacturing advantages of enterprises, to carry out scientific research in the field of new energy cutting-edge technologies in close cooperation with the industry, and jointly promote the transformation of scientific research results into the ground.
