Laser detection of focal plane devices dedicated process line project is developed by the North Laser Research Institute Limited (Laser Institute, China National Instruments Industry Corporation directly under the management of the unit). Laser Institute was founded in 2016, formerly known as Southwest Institute of Technical Physics. The Laser Institute is the first professional organization in China to engage in military laser technology research, with strong advantages in laser weapon systems, laser application systems, laser detectors, optoelectronic information systems, optoelectronic countermeasure systems, guidance systems and other fields.
In recent years, based on its advantages, laser detection technology is more and more widely used in the fields of energy, military industry, electronics, etc., and the market space of laser detection focal plane device is enlarged. Laser detection of focal plane devices dedicated process line project was selected as the "central enterprise scientific and technological achievements in the application of the project to expand the list of the first batch of projects", showing that the laser detection of focal plane devices with significant innovation, importance and social value, the future in the State Council State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and other departments to promote the laser detection of focal plane devices will realize a wider range of applications.
