IPG Q2 revenue of $ 372 million, China market increased by 10%

Specific performance analysis

High-power continuous wave ("CW") laser sales account for 51% of total revenue, an increase of 20% year-on-year. Ultra high power fiber lasers (6 kW or more power) account for 51% of all high-power continuous laser sales in the quarter. The second quarter sales benefit from the adjustable mode beam (AMB) and the strong growth of the pulse laser. System sales have also produced significant growth in this quarter.
According to the regional division, China's sales increased by 10% year-on-year, 50% in Europe, and 23% in North America.
