HITU Robotics Laboratory And Huagong Laser Reach Strategic Cooperation

On February 29, the National Key Laboratory of Robotics Technology and Systems of Harbin Institute of Technology (Harbin Institute of Technology Robotics Laboratory) and Huagong Laser reached a strategic cooperation. In the future, the two sides will work together to explore the development of advanced laser and robotics industry in-depth fusion of the road, to help the industry to accelerate the realization of the scale of development. Prof. Fu Yili, deputy director of the Robotics Laboratory of Harbin University, Xiong Wen, vice president of Huagong Science & Technology and executive vice president of the Central Research Institute, Wang Jiangang, member of the Party Committee of Huagong Science & Technology and general manager of Huagong Laser Precision Systems Business Group, and Xia Yong, assistant president of Huagong Science & Technology and vice president of the Central Research Institute, were present at the meeting.
The Robotics Laboratory of HUST focuses on scientific issues and core key technologies such as mechanism design, intelligent perception, autonomous control, interaction and integration of robots to carry out cutting-edge research, and is one of the earliest units in China to carry out research on robotics, and is currently the only key robotics laboratory in national colleges and universities.

At the symposium, the two sides launched an in-depth exploration of the existing forms of cooperation in the field of advanced laser technology and robotics, and reached a strategic cooperation. In the future, the two sides will focus on humanoid robots, medical robots and other fields to carry out in-depth cooperation, to achieve a win-win situation in technology development and innovation, and constantly improve the construction of humanoid robot manufacturing technology innovation system, and jointly promote the advanced manufacturing industry to achieve digital transformation and upgrading.
Robotics is the "pearl at the top of the crown of the manufacturing industry", and its research and development, manufacturing and application are important symbols for measuring the level of national scientific and technological innovation and high-end manufacturing development. Humanoid robots have a key position in the development strategy of science and technology, and it is necessary to pool resources to promote key technological innovation and build an internationally competitive industrial ecology.
