Laser safety precautions

• Laser protective eyewear must be worn. Operating or viewing the laser without eyewear is prohibited.
• Close all protective doors during laser processing.
• Before performing light-out operations, hang light-out warning signs to notify surrounding personnel.
• When performing demonstrations, clamping and other operations, prohibit any part of the body from being in the light path, and if necessary, lower the high voltage.
• Laser operation authorization: clarify the staff's authority to use the laser, different levels of operating authority.
• Development of rules and regulations: Strict control of areas involving laser radiation and development of laser safety operation guidelines.
• Supervision and inspection mechanism: Regularly maintain and check whether the system's safety system and facilities are feasible, properly implemented and used.
• After using the laser, turn off the laser and power supply before leaving.
• Develop safe operation procedures, maintain and amend them regularly, and strengthen management.
• Enhance employee safety training.

Note: Under normal circumstances, the use of laser protective glass and laser protective glasses are two years, within two years if the laser protective glass or glasses cracked, broken or found that the protective glass or protective lens color change, should be replaced immediately!
