Due to the great thickness of surface corrosion, many pits were created in the material after the serious corrosion on the surface of the collector ring, which made the process of removing the surface corrosion extremely difficult, but after laser descaling and cleaning, it was found that the surface corrosion on the collector ring was completely removed and the base material was not damaged.
The surface cleanliness of the collector ring after the optimized process reaches the standard of Sa2, and compared with the surface of the original specimen with rust grade B, it has a good metallic luster, and there is no residual rust layer on the surface and no unstable bond, which achieves the cleaning effect.
