1. The role of edge sealing

  • Hot air edge sealing: through the high temperature nozzle of the hot fan, the use of compressed air generated by the heat, the edge sealing strip on the coated glue melted to achieve office furniture edge sealing effect, which is a modification of the hot melt adhesive edge sealing technology, although the efficiency will be higher, but the material is still hot melt adhesive and adhesive containing volatile hazardous substances.
  • Laser edge sealing: through the action of the laser, the edge band pre-coated functional layer melted, followed by a pressure wheel mechanism will be tightened edge band, and finally after the flush, trimming, tracking chamfering and other processes to complete the edge sealing.

2. Advantages of laser edge sealing
Seamless link, more beautiful, especially for white and other light-colored door panels and acrylic and other transparent panels, and laser edge sealing, the color of the functional layer hardness and the surface layer of the edge band are the same, so it can realize seamless edge sealing. The product quality is more stable, heat resistant, moisture resistant, mold resistant, high added value, healthy and environmental protection, and prolong the service life of the product.

The computer software sets the welding parameters and sends out the welding command, the laser module emits the laser and processes the product through the semiconductor thermostatic coaxial monitoring welding head, the infrared thermometer collects the welding point temperature at high speed and feeds the signal to the laser power controller, the laser power controller carries out high-speed PID algorithm to automatically adjust the laser power of the laser pump source and carry out constant temperature welding processing of the welding point.
