Laser Welding Process Application in The Automotive Industry

At present, laser welding plate has been widely used in various parts of the automobile body, such as luggage compartment reinforcement plate, luggage compartment plate, shock absorber support, rear wheel cover, side panels, door panels, front floor, front longitudinal beams, bumpers, beams, wheel cover, B-pillar connectors, center column and so on.
Laser welding of automotive parts has the advantages of almost no deformation of the welded parts, fast welding speed, and no need for post-weld heat treatment. At present, laser welding is widely used in the manufacture of transmission gears, valve tappets, door hinges, drive shafts, steering shafts, engine exhausts, clutches, supercharger axles and chassis and other automotive parts.
